Chhapaak, starring Deepika Padukone, has been the talk of the town for a long time now, though for mixed reasons. While there has been a section of netizens that are keen on boycotting the film after Deepika joined JNU students’ protest against the recently-held mob attacks in the university, a majority of people, including celebrities, have been pouring in their support. The latest star to tweet in favour of Chhapaak is TV actor Arjun Bijlani, who recently bumped into acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, on whom the film is based on.
Taking to his Instagram, Arjun shared his delightful encounter with fans and urged them to watch Chhapaak, especially for a brave woman like Laxmi Agarwal. He also revealed watching Chhapaak the soonest. The picture shared by Arjun sees him and Laxmi all smiles, as they posed for the camera. “Bumped into this brave and gorgeous girl @thelaxmiagarwal . If not for @deepikapadukone and @vikrantmassey87 one should watch #chappak jus for her . I’m am going to watch it for all three of them. #cinema #mustwatch @meghnagulzar . #nomoreacidattacks .
