Arjun Bijlani Reveals SHOCKING Details About His Appendix Operation; Actor Recalls, ‘Could Have Been Fatal And Worse For Me’

Television actress Arjun Bijlani enjoys a huge fan following. Over the years, he has garnered a lot of admirers on social media with her versatile performances and charming smile. On March 9, he left his fans worried when it was revealed that he had to undergo an emergency appendicitis surgery. Currently, starring in Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti, he essays the role of Dr Shiv. Sharing an update on his health, weeks after the surgery, Bijlani has now recalled the entire experience. He went as far as to reveal that his appendix was about to burst.
Opening up about the same with Hindustan Times, the 41-year-old actor said he started having an episode of stomach ache about a month ago when he was working on the sets of the serial. Despite taking painkillers and resting in his vanity van, he couldn’t keep on working as he had to stop the shoot in between. He immediately rushed to the hospital, when the medication stopped working. After some tests, he got to know about the condition of his appendix.
Quoted by the Free Press Journal, Bijlani added, “And I was operated on. I got saved; even the doctor said this to me. It could have been fatal and worse for me.” Shedding light on the fact that he is currently at home resting and recovering from the surgery, the Naagin actor said that he feels like he has received a second life.
He went on to add, “It is like my second life because that appendix was so big. It was about to burst. I reached the hospital just in time due to which they got me operated immediately.” Since he was scared of getting operated, he even asked the doctors if his condition could be treated with some tablets, however, they refused him and told him, “that I was lucky that it has not burst till now.”
Arjun Bijlani will be resuming the shoot for his television serial Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti on Sunday.
