Ashneer Grover REVEALS He Is Not Watching Shark Tank India 2, Has Unfollowed All ‘Sharks’, Claims To Have Built Sony Franchise Of Rs 10,000 Crore
Ashneer Grover reveals he will not be watching Shark Tank India season 2 and that he has unfollowed all the other sharks
Former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover has opened up about the show’s second season and stated he is not interested to watch it. The popular entrepreneur also revealed when he was removed from the new season he immediately unfollowed all the other sharks. Ashneer even claimed that during his stint in the first season, he played a pivotal role in helping Sony build a franchise worth a whopping Rs 10,000 crore. Ashneer called himself a ‘builder’ on the show.
The former co-founder of BharatPe recently appeared on The Ranveer Show Podcast and said he will be not be watching Shark Tank India 2 as he has nothing to do with it. Ashneer said in Hindi, “Nahi. Mereko lagta hai separation clean hona chahiye. Jab main Shark Tank mein nahi bhi tha, season two mein, jitne bhi sharks they, unko maine social media se unfollow kar diya. Yaar ab woh tumhari game hai, tum khelo. Main kyu har roz dekhun ke Shark Tank ki shoot pe behind-the-scenes kya chal raha hai? Ab meri life ka part hi nahi hai, toh main kyu past mein rahun? Adding to this, Grover mentioned that because of his good game in the first season, Sony is now having a franchise of Rs 10,000 crore. “I feel happy ke maine ek Rs 500 crore saal ki franchise Sony ko bana ke de di. Kyuki pehla season is the toughest season to crack. Agar pehla season hi nahi chala, agli baari toh channel wale hi aapko slot nahi dene wale, bhool jao. Pehla chal gaya, ab aapka Rs 500 crore ka ad revenue har saal aa raha hai, aapka Rs 10,000 crore ka dhanda hai, aaj ki date mein. Woh bana ke de diya, usme mera nuksaan hua fayda hua koi matlab nahi hai,” Ashneer further asserted.
Meanwhile, Ashneer Grover has joined the second season of Pitchers and the makers recently dropped a new promo featuring him on social media. Created by Arunabh Kumar, the show also features Abhishek Banerjee, Gopal Dutt, Ridhi Dogra, Sikander Kher, Ashish Vidyarthi, Naveen Kasturia, Abhay Mahajan, and Arunabh Kumar, and it streams on Zee5.
