Ashneer Grover's Father Ashok Grover PASSES AWAY At 69; Shark Tank Judge Shares An Emotional Post, Writes, 'Bye Papa Love You’
Former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover's father Ashok Grover has left for his heavenly abode at the age of 69.  The cause of his death is not known. Ashneer announced the sad passing of his father through an emotional Instagram post. Soon after the news of his father’s tragic demise broke out, celebrities and fans took to social media to mourn the sad demise of Ashok. Comedian Sunil Grover, and RJ Anmol among others offered their condolences.

On Tuesday, Ashneer shared a smiling picture of his father and wrote in the caption, “Bye Papa. Love you ! Take Care of Papaji, Badi Mummy, Nanaji and Naniji in heaven. Ashok Grover (S/o Nand Lal Grover) 04.08.1953 - 28.03.2023.” His wife Madhuri Jain Grover shared the same on her Insta handle as well. Taking to the comments section, Sunil Grover dropped, “(Folding hands) prayers emojis. Amrita Rao’s husband RJ Anmol commented, “Very Sad to Hear this Ashneer bhai, a Son to lose his Father… his 1st Hero is the deepest Loss. Myself and Amrita stand by You, Madhuri and your Family in this time of grief. He will Continue to be Your Guiding Light … May His Soul Rest in Peace.”



Ashneer Grover's father was a Delhi-based chartered accountant. He is survived by two children, his son Ashneer and daughter Aashima. 

For the unversed, Grover rose to fame with his stint on the reality show Shark Tank India season 1. He was replaced by Amit Jain, CEO of the online venture CarDekho on the second season of the show. He recently published his memoir, titled ‘Doglapan: The Hard Truth about Life and Start-ups’ where he made some shocking revelations.
