Bigg Boss 13 was long back over but one still can't get over its contestants. Among many others, lovebirds Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana remain our favourite. Why so? Well, their oh-so-adorable love story blossomed inside the Bigg Boss 13 house and is very much going strong. But was it always so smooth? Nope! Long before Himanshi fell for Asim, she already had a love story to talk about, her engagement ring to flaunt... but, well, call it destiny or God's plan, it looks like Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana were bound to be a couple, madly in love. Here's a rundown of their oh-so-filmy love story!
So, let's start from the start. Unlike Asim Riaz, Himanshi Khurana entered as a wildcard contestant after around 2-3 week since the show commenced. Her entry didn't go down very well with her arch-rival Shehnaaz Gill, but Asim was quite flattered on seeing her first glimpse. It was love at first sight of sorts. Well, what happened next was Asim and Himanshi's bonding as friends; the duo was a part of the same group initially. Fast forward to a few days, Asim started flirting with Himanshi and she looked quite uncomfortable at first. Well, that was because the Punjabi singer was then engaged to her ex-boyfriend Chao and she even used to flash her engagement ring quite often, especially in front of Asim Riaz.
The two, however, grew close and used to spend a lot of time with each other. With this, Asim developed even more liking for Himanshi, who, however, was adamant on being not more than friends. Soon after, Himanshi got eliminated and this made Asim sob like there's no tomorrow. What made it worse for him was the news of Himanshi and Chao's marriage. Asim was almost into tears. He then tried to distract his mind and stopped talking about Himanshi eventually. But, hey, fate had something else in store for him. During the family special week, Shefali's husband gave this very pleasing news of Himanshi Khurana waiting for Asim and he started jumping with joy.
Even better, Himanshi reentered the house as Asim Riaz's support and the lady had broken up with her fiancé by then. Unsurprisingly, Asim was a happy kid on seeing Himanshi, so much so, that he went down on his knees to pop the question in front of every other housemate and the lady said 'yes'.
AsiManshi, as fans lovingly call them, started sailing their ship and bonded strongly as a couple inside the Bigg Boss 13 house. Right from their adorable PDA to the sweet nok-jhok; viewers enjoyed watching the couple.
Well, the two also faced criticism from a section of people, including Asim's brother, as it was being speculated that Himanshi is there to spoil his game; however, they paid no heed. Despite all the odds, Asim and Himanshi took their love story beyond the Bigg Boss 13 house and are quite inseparable now. We often come across their social media banter, music videos and other lovey-dovey stuff. As they say, all well that ends well! Here's hoping to see more of Asim and Himanshi in the near future.
