Bade Ache Lagte Hain's Chahatt Khanna Gives Clarification After She Gets Trolled For Showing Support To Shibani Dandekar's #JusticeForRhea Post

Just recently, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for her connection to drugs which was linked to her late boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. After her arrest, quite a few celebs from the entertainment industry were seen supporting Rhea on social media by trending, 'Roses are red, violets are blue, let's smash the patriarchy, me and you' after she was spotted wearing a t-shirt with the text when she reached the NCB office. Amongst many, TV actress and Bade Ache Lagte Hain fame Chahatt Khanna also joined the force and retweeted Rhea's good friend Shibani Dandekar's post on Twitter. After she showed support for #JusticeForRhea, she was mercilessly trolled on social media where naysayers called her a drug addict.
There were comments like, "Ohhho tmko v supply hota tha ky bohot justice chhiye. Q material nhi mil raha hai ky?" "You are supporting a drug supplier?" Seeing so much hatred on her post, Khanna chose to put down a clarification note, stating that she is not a drug addict neither she is part of any core Bollywood group. She simply supported the cause as she saw that Rhea was suffering a lot. Chahatt even raised a question by asking them why such unity was not shown during Jiah Khan's case who also died by suicide on June 3 in 2013.
Her tweet read, "Dear followers I am not a drug addict, i was never into all this nor I am part of any core Bollywood group, for a reason. when I say #JusticeForRhea I mean she is suffering a lot, why dint we take action on #jiahkhan case then?"

Meanwhile, after Rhea was moved to Byculla jail, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that a special court in Mumbai will hear the bail applications of Ms Chakraborty and her brother Showik on Thursday. He also claimed that the NCB custody was illegal and so, bail should be provided.
