Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2: Divyanka Tripathi Says It Is ‘Not Easy’ To Say No To ‘A Big Brand Show, Bigger Production And Good Money’
As she gets appreciated for turning down Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 offer, Divyanka Tripathi says it was not easy to say no despite getting a chance to star in a big brand show and getting good money
TV Actor Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya has rejected Ekta Kapoor’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. She was supposed to star opposite Ishqbaaz star Nakuul Mehta but turned down the offer citing, she and Nakuul won’t match or look good together on screen. She even gave a look test for the same but it seems the results didn’t impress her much and had to let go of the offer. Even though it disappointed many as Divyanka was last in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, some seemed to be impressed with her decision.
After a Twitter user praised her for sticking to her guts, Divyanka Tripathi says it was not easy to 'say no' despite getting a chance to star in a big brand show and getting good money. She took to Twitter and wrote, “Thank you for your support. Saying no to a big brand show, even bigger production & good money isn't easy. Production should be happy if an artist desires to either get completely convinced & immersed or just opt out.”
Reacting to her post, a fan wrote, “We are so proud of you for taking a stand for yourself, DT! you deserve to choose whatever project you want and no one should or can make you feel bad about that. you only do it if you know you can give it your 200%. we know you’ll be back with a bang with the right project.”
While another one stated, “Its a choice and everyone should respect that...playing a character which you can relate will be pressurising so taking a stand for ur choices cant be wrong.. its inspiring how you put these statements super proud wish you get the perfect role in which can show ur potentials.”
