Balika Vadhu 2 Fame Randeep Rai Opens Up On Social Drama Going Off Air, Says ‘I Have Not Heard Any Such News
It is being speculated that Shivangi Joshi and Randeep Rai’s drama will be replaced by Ekta Kapoor’s new serial.
With new year, the television entertainment industry is all set to witness new twists, which ultimately mean the start of new shows on channels. If we are to go by the rumours Balika Vadhu 2 is going off-air despite the immensely improving TRPs of the show.
It is being speculated that Shivangi Joshi and Randeep Rai’s drama will be replaced by Ekta Kapoor’s new serial. However, there has been no confirmation from any official source on Balika Vadhu going off-air though.
Amid all the confusion, a BollywoodLife report quoted Randeep Rai who informed, "I have not heard any such news about Balika Vadhu going off-air. No one from the production has mentioned anything so far."
This should come as a relief for all fans of Shivangi Joshi and Randeep Rai.
Balika Vadhu 2 is set in Gujarat and is a story of women empowerment. After a successful stint on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Shivangi Joshi was brought in as the grown-up Anandi. Balika Vadhu 2 saw a steady rise in rating post that.
Meanwhile, speaking of Ekta Kapoor's new show - Prem Bandini is about two friends who fall in love with the same man. The show will reportedly replace Balika Vadhu 2. Randeep Rai has confirmed that the show is on. Well, this is likely to comfort many people.
