Balika Vadhu Actor Vikrant Massey On Returning To Television After 8 Years With A Historical Docu-Series: ‘Feels Like Home Coming, Really Excited’-EXCLUSIVE
Actor Vikrant Massey is all set to return to television after a gap of eight long years with the upcoming documentary series ‘Kahani Navbharat Ki’, which chronicles key moments that shaped India’s history and its evolution towards a New India. Vikrant will be hosting this 10-part episode series, which will be launched by Times Now Navbharat with a special curtain-raiser episode on January 26. In an exclusive chat with SpotboyE.com, the actor spoke about making a comeback on TV and revealed why he chose this show.

Vikrant shared, “I’m really happy coming back after 8 long years and it seems like nothing has changed. I’m really excited that I’ll be interacting with my television audiences who’ve been so supportive throughout my journey so far and I’m really excited. It almost feels like home coming in so many ways, really excited that I’m back on television and getting an opportunity to interact with my television audience again.”

Further, listing down the reasons for agreeing to do the show, the Haseen Dillruba actor said, “There are many reasons as to why I chose the show, I cannot zero down on one particular reason. I as an audience always felt like there is a dearth of informational content or content such as Kahani Navbharat Ki and as I said we are celebrating 75 years of independence and there are so many wonderful moments that have come together with regards to this show. There is a dearth of content which is educational in nature, which is informative, which is inspiring and that’s exactly the reason why I decided that this will be the right show for me to come back on the television.”

On the big screen, Vikrant Massey will next be seen in Santosh Sivan’s upcoming directorial 'Mumbaikar', which has an ensemble cast including Ranvir Shorey and Vijay Sethupati. ALSO READ: Vikrant Massey And Nora Fatehi To Team Up For A Thriller Drama Titled Blackout
