Ankita Lokhande has been grabbing the spotlight ever since her participation in Bigg Boss 17 alongside her husband, Vicky Jain. Initially, there were heated exchanges between Ankita and Vicky, primarily stemming from her perception that he wasn't allocating enough time to their relationship. Their marital discord escalated to a point where Vicky Jain faced severe online criticism, being labeled as 'toxic' for allegedly neglecting his affection towards Ankita Lokhande.
During the course of the show, Ankita also opened up about the genuine cause behind her breakup with Sushant Singh Rajput. Furthermore, she revisited her relationship with Sushant and the underlying reasons for her decision to marry Vicky Jain. The actress engaged in a conversation with Samarth, during which they discussed her desire to embrace motherhood and the idea of having twins. Later, the topic shifted to Ankita's past, where she disclosed her experience of being deeply in love and eagerly preparing to become a bride. However, she sadly shared, "I had true love, a love that spanned several years. I was even ready to become a bride, but my groom abandoned me, leaving me behind."
Ankita continued by explaining that she initially believed Sushant was the one meant to be her groom, but that turned out not to be the case. It was at this point that Vicky came into her life, and she eventually married him. She revealed that Vicky had been a part of her life even while she was in a relationship with Sushant. Ankita further disclosed that Vicky had feelings for her, which ultimately led to their marriage. The actress also mentioned that she was prepared for marriage, though it did take her some time to say 'yes' to Vicky.
Ankita further added that she thought Sushant was her groom, but he wasn't, and that's when Vicky entered her life and she married him. She revealed that Vicky was in her life when she was in a relationship with Sushant. Ankita further shared that Vicky used to like her, so, she married him. The actress added that she was ready for marriage, but it took a bit time to say 'yes' to Vicky.
"Main kahi involved nahi thi, fir bhi main khadi hui because main chahti ki log jaane vo kaun tha. Log tab kaha the, jab mera breakup chal raha tha. Main vo phase akele gujazara. There was no reason for breakup. El raat mein cheeze change hui meri life mein. Mera concern tha ki mujhe batakar cheezein karta, to mujhe pata rehta. Uski aankhon mein dikhne lag gya ki koi cheez nahi hai.
Munawar delved deeper into the issue by asking Ankita about the trolling she faced after Sushant's tragic passing in 2020. Ankita disclosed that she decided to address the matter because she was determined to show the world who the real Sushant was. She went on to reveal the true cause behind their breakup, emphasizing that it occurred suddenly one night without any prior notice.
