Benafsha Soonawalla On Keeping Her Relationship With Priyank Sharma Under Wraps For Long, ‘Didn’t Think People Would Understand Back Then’

3 years post their stint in Bigg Boss 11, Priyank Sharma and Benafsha Soonawalla made their relationship official, we mean Insta official, on April 4 with a cosy kiss. Soon after BB11 concluded, the duo was often in news for the alleged relationship, but they maintained their ‘good friend’ status. Priyank and Benafsha’s sudden relationship announcement got all the gossipmongers talking and the VJ couldn’t be happier for all the love they are receiving.
Now in her latest interview, Benafsha has spilled the beans on why they kept their relationship under wraps for a long time, Ben revealed that she feared that people won’t understand them. When Benafsha Soonawalla was asked about why she hid her relationship with Priyank Sharma, she told TOI, “I didn’t think people would understand back then. But then I felt I have to choose myself and my loved ones over other people. It makes sense to me right now so I did it.”
She further added, “It feels great and I’m super happy that people are appreciating it so much. I hope this continues and people can see how amazingly pure this bond is. I just hope that everything works out well. I feel now I have given so much to this and so has he. People have let go of the misunderstandings and misconceptions they had and started appreciating us together. I am really overwhelmed by the love.”
Earlier, Priyank too had revealed why they took longer to confirm their relationship with each other. He had then told the same portal, “We took a lot of time to work on the relationship and didn’t make it public earlier because we wanted our space and privacy.
