Paras Madaan, who has been part of the industry for more than a decade, has also turned producer now. Paras has acted in TV shows like Beyhadh 2, Divya Drashti, Lado 2, and Qubool Hai and has now started up his own production company in collaboration with his fiance Soumita Das. The actor in a recent conversation shared the good news with us and also told us what made him take this decision?
Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively Paras said, "It indeed feels like a big breakthrough in my career. It feels so overwhelming to be a part of the team where we work on conceiving an idea and then transforming it into a larger-than-life scenario which further holds the potential to connect with millions at various levels. This change makes me understand every situation that a producer goes through in a better way. Honestly, I’m really thrilled and elated to embark on this journey whilst unfolding what it holds for me." Sharing the reason which inspired him to take this new step in his career, the actor says, "Acting has undeniably been my first love but I was always curious to know what goes on behind the camera. An actor plays a vital role in portraying a story but I feel that directing, producing, and visualizing it feels more intriguing to me. I am thankful to my fiancé Soumita Das, who herself has been an integral part in operating various OTT platforms for acknowledging my passion. I am glad that we decided to pursue our journey both personally and professionally. During the lockdown, the two of us decided to shape our undeniable impulse and yearning to work on curating interesting content for the audience & that’s when we opened up our own production house named “PM PRODUCTION” and the rest is history. Paras also went on putting some light on insiders and outsiders debate which is slowly blurring, "Having been a part of the industry for more than a decade now, I know the magnitude of hard work and struggle that goes into grabbing a single role. However, now times have changed and this inevitable change has actually blurred the line between outsiders and insiders. For me, talent has always been the topmost priority and our youth is extremely promising and proficient. I have always believed in giving chances to newcomers and promoting the hidden talented gems out there. That’s how I would like to contribute."
Ask him about the release of his first project after turning a producer, Paras said, "I cannot divulge into many details but we are coming up with some exciting web series and reality shows sooner than soon."
