Actress Jennifer Winget just upped the game with the latest Instagram post where she is seen preparing for her role for the second season of Beyhadh. After Shivin Narang who was roped in to play a pivotal role in Beyhadh, actor Ashish Chowdhry is the latest one to join the team. The actor who was seen in several Bollywood movies and TV shows in the past, is all set to portray a role which is slightly older than his actual age. The actor expressed having no qualms about ageing on the small screen as per the show’s demand.
The actor is all set to play a father in Beyhadh and gradually age as the show progresses. In conversation with Times of India, Ashish said, “I have no qualms about ageing on screen. I will play a cupboard if it is challenging enough. Many actors have played fathers to co-stars their age, and been appreciated for it. On TV, I have the liberty to be selective, which isn’t the case with films.” The actor shared Beyhadh 2 gets him out of his comfort zone and allows him to be away from being typecast in the industry.
As the show entirely revolves around Jennifer Winget’s character Maya, the actor doesn’t want to restrict himself by only playing main lead on the screen.
He further said, “I agree that it is completely Jenny’s (Jennifer) show. However, that’s not the approach I want to have towards my career — that I will play only titular characters and should be the solo lead; the role should be creatively satisfying, that’s all.”
The actor is all set to sport a salt and pepper look and is super thrilled about the same and so are we. Let's wait and watch how he looks in his aged avatar!
