Popular actress Vidisha Srivastava, who is known for her work in films and television shows across Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, has been roped in to play the new Anita Bhabi in the show. She has replaced Nehha Pendse. Vidisha is quite excited and is proud to have got an opportunity to play India's most-loved character, Anita Bhabi.
Speaking about playing such an iconic character, Vidisha said in a statement that she has always enjoyed watching the show but has never imagined that one day she would get to be a part of it as one of its lead characters. “It is truly a momentous moment.
