Bharti Singh And Haarsh Limbaachiyaa Sent To 14-Day Judicial Custody By Mumbai Court, Post Arrest By NCB In Drug Case
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested comedian Bharti Singh as well as her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa after the seizure of ganja (cannabis) from their house in suburban Andheri by NCB officials. As per reports in NDTV, their house in Mumbai was searched by the NCB on Saturday, after which a small quantity of cannabis was found from their home. While Bharti was arrested by the NCB on Saturday, her husband Haarsh was questioned first for several hours and was placed under arrest on Sunday.

Now, ANI reports that a court in Mumbai sent Bharti and Haarsh to14 day  judicial custody till December 4 in connection with the seizure of ganja from their home. ANI tweeted, “Maharashtra: A court in Mumbai sends comedian Bharti Singh (in pic) and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa to 14-day judicial custody till 4th December, in connection with the seizure of ganja from their residence. They were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)."

They were both produced before a court on Sunday afternoon. A statement from the NCB said, “Both Ms Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted consumption of ganja,” as quoted by Hindustan Times.


As per reports, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s name came under the NCB scanner during the questioning of a drug peddler. The Narcotics Control Bureau has been probing the alleged drug use in Bollywood after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Earlier, Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB but was later granted bail by the High Court. Several names reportedly surfaced while probing the alleged drug use, and a few actors from Bollywood were summoned for questioning.
