Bharti Singh And Haarsh Limbachiyaa Arrested By NCB In Drugs Case: Karan Patel Says ‘It Is Strictly Their Personal Business’

Comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after the seizure of ganja (cannabis) from their house in suburban Andheri by the NCB officials. ANI reported yesterday that a court in Mumbai sent Bharti and Haarsh to 14-day judicial custody till December 4. Now, Bharti’s colleagues from the TV industry such as Karan Patel, Iqbal Khan, have reacted to the recent development in the drug probe.
Karan Patel and Bharti Singh had both been a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi. Karan, while speaking to Hindustan Times, reacted to Bharti’s arrest saying that he only did one reality show with her, and doesn’t know anything else about her beyond that, “I don’t know anything else about her beyond that. It is strictly their personal business. I am not aware of what she does in her life. I do not want to comment on that much. I don’t believe that it is a case of targeting TV industry next. Let the case take its own course is all that I would like to say.”
Meanwhile, Iqbal Khan told HT that he only worked with her in the finale episode of a reality show a few years ago, and thinks she is quite talented. However, he said since he doesn’t know much about the case, he would not like to comment about it. He further added that it’s not like after Bollywood, TV industry is the next target, and believes that it has nothing to do with one’s profession. Iqbal, however, feels that celebrities are an easy target.
