Comedy queen Bharti Singh is reportedly all set to embrace motherhood bliss next year. According to the latest report in Hindustan Times, the comedian is expecting her first baby with husband and writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa in 2022. Reportedly, the pregnancy has been confirmed by a close friend of the couple. To note, Bharti is already on leave and has halted her work commitments for the time being. The source revealed that the actress is not “stepping out much and is currently keeping a low profile.”
HT quoted a source close to the couple as saying, “It is at a very initial stage. Singh is already on rest and has halted her work commitments for now. She is not stepping out much and staying low profile.” The report added that the standup comedian will return to work in a few days. Bharti was supposed to return to Kapil Sharma‘s comedy show this week after taking a break from her game show. Now, she is expected to re-join the show in a couple of weeks.
Bharti Singh neither confirmed nor denied the good news. She stated that she’d tell about it when the time is appropriate. She said, “I won’t deny or confirm anything. But when the time is right I will openly speak about it. One can’t hide such things. So when I want to reveal it, I will do it publicly.”
Rumours of Bharti Singh’s pregnancy have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Many speculated that she is pregnant with her first child. During her visit to a dance reality show, Bharti Singh had mentioned that she and Haarsh were planning to start a family but the pandemic stalled their plans.
