Diwali festivities are around the corner, but celebrations for many are going to be different and lowkey this year due to the pandemic scare. And one such person is TV actress Srishty Rode whom we also saw as a contestant in Bigg Boss 12.
Talking to us about how she will be celebrating the festival of Diwali this year, the actress revealed it is going to be different and also shared the reason behind it.
For actress Srishty Rode, who has always celebrated Diwali on a grand scale each year, this year is going to be very different while celebrating the festival, as she plans to keep the celebrations minimal. Speaking about her Diwali 2020 plans, Srishty shares, "I am someone who has always been on the go during Diwali. I am usually at friend's places and meeting relatives and other family members, going out for dinners and parties and so much more, but this year is going to be very lowkey for me. I will be just meeting a few close ones on the occasion keeping in mind all social distancing norms, because as much as I love the festival and want to eagerly celebrate it, the pandemic at the same time cannot be taken lightly." She also added, "Overall, Diwali this year is going to be very different, as not going to visit friends and family is what will be different about the festival, but we can just hope and pray that next year brings us back our normal celebrations."
