Bigg Boss 12 Winner Dipika Kakar Is Overjoyed With News Of Her Best Friend Sonalee Kulkarni's Engagement
Ever since Sonalee Kulkarni announced news of her engagement to the world a lot of messages poured in and one such comment was from her old time friend Dipika Kakar.
An hour back we reported to you that popular actress from the Marathi showbiz, Sonalee Kulkarni, is engaged to Kunal Benodekar. The actress who turned a year older today shared this good news on her Instagram page. She revealed that they got engaged on February 2, 2020 before the lockdown was announced however they decided to keep the news under wraps.
Sonalee shared multiple pictures from the ceremony on her Instagram page and ever since she announced it to the world a lot of messages poured in sending her good wishes and one such comment was from her old time friend Dipika Kakar.
The Bigg Boss 12 Winner wrote, "Many many congratulations @18588❤❤🤗🤗🤗 stay blessed and happy always." Well for those who don't know Dipika and Sonalee have known each other her since their school days. In fact it is because of Sonalee that Dipika became an actress.
In an exclusive conversation with SpotboyE.com last year Dipika had revealed, "I was flying for 3 years as an air-hostess but due to my medical issues, I had to quit. Of course, I was flustered as I didn’t have a job. At that time my best friend and classmate, Sonalee Kulkarni, told me that I should not stress so much, after all, flying is a tiring job."
"She suggested why I don’t try exploring acting on TV. My mother also got excited with the idea. So, she got my portfolio done, shared a lot of contacts with me and helped me in auditions. I would say she is the reason why I became an actress. She shared a lot of email ids and circulated my folio, after which I started getting calls for auditions. Believe me my initial ones were so bad that I myself laugh over them, today," said Dipika who is now a household name.
She had also added, "I got my first break after 8 months which was Shakuntalam Productions’ show, Neer Bhare Tore Naina- Devi, which went off-air in one-and-a-half month, but people think that Sasural Simar Ka is my first show. Then I had a character role in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo which also went off-air within 7 months of me joining. So, Sasural Simar Ka gave me all the boost and recognition.”
