Former Bigg Boss contestant Hina Khan was all praises for Asim Riaz when she entered as a guest on BB 13 for promotions. Now, Asim’s brother Umar has expressed gratitude towards the actress for defending his brother
Asim Riaz’s brother Umar can't thank Hina Khan enough for her support towards his brother in the Bigg Boss 13 house. We saw how Asim’s fans were upset by the fact that Hina's words of praise towards him were not telecasted by the channel and felt the show was being biased, but Umar is taking the whole thing quite positively.
Talking to us exclusively, Umar said, "Even after Salman Khan praised him in one of the episodes, Asim didn't know how much love and support he is getting outside the house. Many celebrities have come in as guests, but none of them ever conveyed to Asim about his popularity outside the show. So, I am extremely thankful to Hina Khan for doing this. It was such a good gesture when Paras Chhabra called him Zero and she confronted him by saying that Asim has a huge fan following outside. This will definitely boost Asim and his game. I saw in few clippings that he has started missing his family. And this line coming from a celebrity herself who has also been part of this reality show before must have definitely made him feel good. Even Paras and Vikas Gupta who came from outside are often seen talking about Sidharth and Shehnaaz's popularity also mentioning #sidnaaz chemistry, but no one told my brother that he is receiving an equal amount of love from his fans".
He also added, "I have seen Mahira and Shehnaaz making him feel weak by saying ‘Tu to finale tak nahi jaayega’. And then after the recent task when his own friends Shefali Jariwala, Hindustani Bhau and others said mean things to him by saying that he has a black heart, he was extremely upset. Though he was smiling but being a brother I could see how disturbing it was for him. So to face those people, those words of praise from Hina Khan were much needed.”
