Bigg Boss 13 House Goes Plastic Free; Salman Khan's Reality Show Sets A New Trend
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s next item on his agenda to go plastic-free has become one of the priorities in the tinsel town as well. Actors are adapting a plastic-free lifestyle and propagating the same towards their fans.  Hence setting an example and taking the same to another level Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 13 and our ace filmmaker- set designer Omung Kumar. Omung who has been designing the Bigg Boss house now for years now, has taken a firm step to go plastic-free as he designed the Bigg Boss 13 house this time.

This year the house has been shifted to Mumbai’s Film City unlike it past seasons where the contestants were locked in the house created in Lonavala. Omung avoiding the usage of plastic has opted for POP and fibre which is slightly heavier on the makers’ pockets, but advocates better life and helping people adapt to changes and follow the same.  He further revealed of around 500-600 workers working for the past six months to get the basic structure of the house in place.

Omung during his interaction with the media yesterday at the event in Mumbai said, “Basically, because of pollution, we have tried to avoid plastic as much as possible. Instead, we have used fibre, POP etc. Even though plastic and thermocol were easier, simpler, lighter and cheaper, but then as an Indian citizen, we have to think about these concerns. So, we have started reducing the use of plastic even though it leads to a higher cost. So, we are reversing to the times when plastic was not used. That's why we are using POP and fibre, which are long-lasting. We are not just disposing off and throwing stuff. So, we are changing ourselves and hope people will follow us.”

Makers gave a glimpse of the Bigg Boss 13 house erected in Film City this time; has a vibrant colour scheme and interesting interior, keeping the viewers eagerly waiting for the show to kick start on September 29, 2019.

Salman Khan launched the show yesterday in Mumbai with a total desi feel, this controversial reality show is in its 13th season this year, with Khan being the host who is all set to roast the housemates.
