In yesterday's episode of Bigg Boss 13 Weekend Ka Vaar, we saw host Salman Khan pointing out Mahira Sharma's comment on Sidharth Shukla’s age. During a conversation in the house, the actress was seen saying “Sidharth Shukla meri maa se bhi bada hoga” and she also called him “40 saal ka Buddha”. So when Anil Kapoor marked an appearance on the show to promote his film Pagalpanti, we saw Salman confronting her on this in a quirky way.
When we spoke to her mother Sania Sharma who is also a model-actor by profession and asked her take on her daughter’s comments against Sidharth Shukla, here’s what she had to say, "My daughter is correct that I am younger than Sidharth. Shukla toh uske papa ki umar ka hai because I got married at a very young age. Mahira was born when I was 16 and by 23, both my kids were in school. Post that, I started with my modelling career and it's been 18 years since we’re living in the city.”
She added, "Bigg Boss is such a show that everyone watches it. Our relatives who are in Kashmir are surprised to see Mahira inside. They keep calling me and saying ki yeh itni badi hogayi magar lagta hi nahi as they had met her when she was too young.”
We asked how disturbing is it for her as a mother to see her daughter Mahira fighting with Sidharth all the time. She says, "I get so disturbed seeing all these fights that I don't get sleep. These days, I have been sleeping at 3 in the night as after the show, I just keep on thinking what my daughter must be facing inside. So you see, I am not just stuck on to the show, in fact I watch everything including the social media clips, fan comments and of course, news reports too.” Finally, she states, “Shukla is jealous of my daughter as she is the most cute and lovable person in the house.”
