With Bigg Boss 13 all set to dominate your evening with entertainment quotient from September 29, the makers are not leaving any stone unturned in creating the right amount of buzz around the show. This controversial TV reality show will continue to be hosted by none other than Salman Khan, who has been headlining the news with his intriguing promos for the same. A few minutes back, the show had a grand event launch at a metro station in Mumbai where Bhai made his presence felt. Talking about the contestants, so far only actors Devoleena  Bhattacharjee and Siddharth Shukla are confirmed to be roped in to get locked in the house.



There are few more names making the rounds of the internet such as Rashami Desai, Arti Singh, etc. who are rumoured to be entering the Bigg Boss house. Just before this season kick starts and takes us on a roller coaster ride, we give you a quick rundown of the contestants from the previous seasons who hogged the headlines for all the drama and controversies, getting the show a lot of attention and constantly growing TRP's. From picking up ugly fights with the housemates to escaping the house, the show had it all to keep the viewers entertained.

Dolly Bindra-Can you ever forget Dolly Bindra screaming “Baap pe mat jaana” when she had a showdown with Manoj Tiwari. The actress kept all the housemates on their toes as she was known to pick fights with almost all the contestants on the show. Her motor mouth didn’t spare anyone on Bigg Boss Season 4.


Rakhi Sawant- Well item girl and actress Rakhi Swant was roped in by the makers in the very first season of the show, all thanks for the controversies she created in her career which landed her in the house, claiming more fame and success. The actress’ foul usage of languages and constant fallouts with fellow housemates, made her one of the most controversial contestants on the show.


Shweta Tiwari– TV actress Shweta Tiwari who rose to fame with TV serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay had fireworks happening in the Bigg Boss house when she rubbed shoulder with Dolly Bindra. Both got extremely violent on the show resulting in an ugly fight between two; getting all physical and leaving Shweta bruised and scarred. Shweta went on to win the Bigg Boss Season 4.


Hina Khan- Currently popular for the apt portrayal of vamp on TV show Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Hina Khan’s spat with Shilpa Shinde remained the highlight of the season. The actress ended up calling Shilpa a buffalo and also criticized her acting skills. These two often had conversations leading into an ugly spat leaving the audience entertained. Khan was a contestant of Bigg Boss 11.


Shilpa Shinde- The actress before she entered the house was already at loggerheads with the makers of TV show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain. Post her entry in the house she blamed housemate Vikas Gupta for her ouster from the show. The two remained at loggerheads throughout the season but later bonded well towards the end of the show. Shilpa won the Bigg Boss Season 11.


Veena Malik- Veena Malik piping hot affair with Ashmit Patel was captured on all the possible cameras in the house. The two got extremely cosy irrespective of whatever time of the day, the fellow housemates were admitted of being uncomfortable and awkward due to their intimacy. Malik appeared in Bigg Boss Season season 4. 


Vikas Gupta- He is one of the most manipulative contestants on the show. In other words, it won’t be incorrect to call him a mastermind of the show, who grabbed all the attention for picking up topics like homosexuality and other hot and bubbling topics for a debate on the show. His spat with Shilpa Shinde was one of the memorable spats of the season. Vikas was spotted on Bigg Boss Season 11.


Akashdeep Sehgal-  Akashdeep was one fearless contestants on the show. The actor dared to lock horns with host Salman Khan and also once walked off fuming with anger when Khan was talking to him. The actor further even accused Dabangg Khan for sabotaging his career. Sehgal was seen in Bigg Boss 5.

Rahul Mahajan- Rahul Mahajan who is of the son of late politician Pramod Mahajan too hit the headline for trying to escape from the house. However, after being caught, Rahul chose to quit rather than apologizing on the small screen. He also went on records to say that even if the show might have offered a crore to him he would have donated it in charity. He was part of Bigg Boss Season 2.


Kushal Tandon- Kushal Tandon never feared to put forth his opinions fearless in front of the housemates and even the host Salman Khan. He was often seen getting in spats and fights for his then-girlfriend Gauahar Khan who was also on the show. He was part of Bigg Boss 7.


Zubair Khan- Zubair Khan created ripples on the Bigg Boss 11 for many reasons. Salman was seen warning and blasting Zubair for his misbehaviour on the show. Later he was kept away from the show post his eviction for bad mouthing about the show and its host. His usage foul language towards his housemates created a lot of controversies.

Vindu Dara Singh- Vindu Dara Singh often picked fights with housemates Bakhtiyaar Irani and Sherlyn Chopra. Later he went on to win Bigg Boss 3 which was then hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.


Kamaal R Khan- Kamaal R Khan also popularly known for bashing and irking the Bollywood celebs. He was evicted from the show for his violent behaviour towards housemates. He was part of Bigg Boss Season 3.
