Bigg Boss 13's Asim Riaz On Financial Hardships: 'I Didn’t Even Have The Money To Hire A Taxi To Go For An Audition'
While talking to an online portal, Bigg Boss 13's first runner-up Asim Riaz talked about facing financial crisis during his struggling days
In the Bigg Boss 13 house, Sidharth Shukla who received immense love but so did Asim Riaz, who was one of the most popular contestants of the season. He usually made his way to the headlines for his witty demeanor and giving neck-to-neck competition to Sidharth, more so, he also created some romantic moments in the house with another housemate Himanshi Khurana, which made their fans give them the moniker 'AsiManshi.' However, before receiving so much fame and love, there was a time when he went through a lot of struggle, financially. So much so that he didn't have enough money to even rent a taxi and go for an audition.
While speaking to TOI, remembering the economic hardships, the actor/model was quoted saying, "I have been through a lot of mess in my life, but I used to feel ho jayega kuch na kuch (something or the other will work out). I didn’t even have the money to hire a taxi to go for an audition. I had the option to walk or go back home, and I would walk."
However, now Asim is a star that needs no introduction at all and his huge fan following can be seen on Twitter as well. Yesterday, on July 13, Asim celebrated his 27th birthday and fans were pouring in some heart-warming birthday wishes and love. Even his ladylove Himanshi Khurana sent a sweet birthday wish that read, "I wish that life always gives you a reason to smile... Happy Birthday @imrealasim."
On the other hand, his brother Umar Riaz too penned a heartfelt note which read, "Happy birthday brother @asimriaz77.official. U mean the world to me. Lots of success, happiness, love and affection. Will always be behind when u look for me ever. Stay the way u are and conquer whats written for u. The world is urs, go for it!"
