Bigg Boss 13’s Shefali Jariwala Reveals She Was Paid 7k Rupees For Kaanta Laga: ‘I Was In College, My Father Was Completely Against It’
Shefali Jariwala, who was last seen in Bigg Boss 13, may have gained a lot of popularity after her stint in the reality show, but she was already a known and famous personality even before that. She shot to fame with the remix of the song Kaanta Laga, after which she decided to get into showbiz. When she was approached for Kaanta Laga, Shefali was studying in an engineering college, and revealed that she came from a family of academicians, and her father was against her doing the song.

While speaking with The Times Of India, Shefali Jariwala said, “I was in college then and I come from a family of academicians, so my parents told me to focus on my studies. But I wanted to do it because I was getting paid for it. I earned Rs 7,000 from that song, and I wanted to see myself on TV.” She then shared that her father was initially against it, which is why she took her mom into confidence first, and then they both convinced Shefali’s father.

“And that song turned out to be such a hit that it was like a fairytale for me. It changed my life completely,” she said.

Since then, she hasn’t looked back! Shefali Jariwala has also been a part of other reality shows apart from Bigg Boss 13. She had participated in Nach Baliye 5 with hubby Parag Tyagi, who was then her boyfriend. They were also seen in Nach Baliye 7 as wild card entrants.
