Bigg Boss 13: Security Tightened Outside Salman Khan’s Residence Following Protests Seeking Ban On The Reality Show
Recently, Big Boss 13 was embroiled in controversy after the Karni Sena demanded an immediate ban on the reality show. Salman Khan hosts the controversial reality show and now, as per a report in Hindustan Times, security outside Salman’s home in Bandra, Mumbai has been tightened after a group of people protested seeking a ban on Bigg Boss 13. The new concept of the show this season, ‘Bed Friends Forever’ did not go down well and several organizations including the Karni Sena were against it.

According to the report in Hindustan Times, a group of people started protesting in front of host Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra Bandstand at about 11 am. After that, the police detained the protestors. Deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Zone IX, Paramjit Singh Dahiya, told HT, “Some people came to protest outside Salman’s residence, we have detained them. Our police officials are present there.”

A senior official also informed the tabloid that the security has been tightened and more than 30 personnel, including a senior inspector, two assistant commissioners of police and officers from special branch, have been deployed outside Salman Khan’s house.  As per a report in Republic, Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena had written a letter to Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, regarding the show being against the Indian culture. "Under the Hindu act, I request the government to immediately ban the show because it is being telecasted on national TV. Bigg Boss show has totally ruined the Indian culture," the letter stated.
