Bigg Boss 13: Sidharth-Shehnaaz, Madhurima-Vishal’s Pyaar And Nok Jhok Give A BIG Boost To The TRPs- EXCLUSIVE
Bigg Boss 13 is doing quite well in terms of the TRPs. No wonder it's received an extension. We decode the trend and impressions in the last few weeks which clearly depicts that the show is rocking it and how!
When the 13th season of Bigg Boss began, the interesting line-up of contestants promised a lot of masala, but the first few weeks failed to garner the desired amount of eyeballs. Proof in point was the show’s absence from the TRP list, every week.
Bigg Boss 13 was nowhere to be seen in the Top 10 shows. Then after 10 weeks, the show started registering an upward trend in terms of a rise in its impressions and of course, the fact that it finally started making its presence felt in the Top 10 list of TV shows.
As we enter 2020, we can rightly say that Bigg Boss has indeed been on a high, what with huge rise in impressions. The impressions started witnessing a hike from Week 11, but Week 15 registered the highest so far, i.e. 6639.
Well, the credit undoubtedly goes to the channel and makers first, for retaining and editing out the episodes in such a manner that the entire meat is served on our platter in that one hour of its on-air time.
Some key contestants who have contributed in a good or bay way, include Sidharth Shukla-Shehnaaz Gill, Madhurima Tuli-Vishal Aditya Singh.
Now, Sidharth and Shehnaaz are not exactly a couple, but over the last few weeks, we saw their relationship intensifying to such an extent that they not only began indulging in PDA but also started getting too physical with their fights.
The episode wherein Shehnaaz slapped Sidharth really hard made noise and then, the one wherein Sid pinned her down, held her by the arms and threatened her also was talked about. In fact, several people lashed out at the channel for allowing to display such sort of violence and also for allowing Shukla to continue staying in the house.
Next, we saw ex-lovers Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya Singh’s pyaar, takraar and nok jhok. They have literally fought like cats and dogs, then reunited. Then fought again and are back together. But, their last fight seemed to be like the final nail in the coffin when Vishal threw water on Madhurima and in return, she smacked him with a frying pan repeatedly.
While Bigg Boss punished Madhurima for her violent act, the job was done. The episode grabbed enough attention and is still being talked about on social media.
In short, Sid-Shehnaaz, Madhurima-Vishal have helped give Colors and BB makers the much needed boost in TRPs. No wonder the channel decided to give the show an extension.
