In this Bigg Boss 14 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, show host, Salman Khan welcomed three new wild card entrants to the house. FIR actress Kavita Kaushik, Kumkum Bhagya actress Naina Singh, and actor Shardul Pandit marked their entry on the show. Later, after Nishant Singh Malkani, the FIR actress was appointed as the captain of the house. Now, Bigg Boss 14's house captain and wild card contestant Kavita Kaushik, who is winning hearts outside, gets an advantage during the nominations. Bigg Boss brings in an interesting twist to the nominations.

On Twitter, Colors TV shared a teaser video of the nominations process and tweeted, “Nominations ke bahane zaahir ki gharwalon ne apne mann ki bhadas aur mili @iamkavitak ko captain hone ke naate ek special power!” During the nominations, Rahul Vaidya nominated Jaan Kumar Sanu, and Rubina Dilaik, while Nishant Singh Malkani and Nikki Tamboli nominated each other. Rubina also nominated Rahul, whereas Jaan Kumar Sanu nominated Nikki Tamboli and got nominated by Naina Singh. Later, as the contestants nominate their fellow housemates, Bigg Boss gives house captain Kavita Kaushik a special power. Bigg Boss asks Kavita to choose one contestant whom she wants to save from the nominated contestants.

Meanwhile, in the video, the contestants are seen venting their frustration on the ones they do not want to be a part of the game. The video also saw Jasmin Bhasin explaining her reason for nominating a particular contestant. On the other hand, Kavita Kaushik has managed to stir up a storm in the house after becoming captain.
