Kamya Panjabi has been a die-hard fan of the controversial show Bigg Boss. She follows every season and in fact, has been a part of one too. She has been following Bigg Boss 14 as well and has been sharing her views on social media about its contestants. Rubina Dilaik, who was Kamya's co-star on the show Shakti: Ek Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, is also a part of Bigg Boss 14. Initially, Kamya cheered and supported Rubina Dilaik, however, recently, she expressed her disappointment over an act of Rubina. Kamya got trolled for the same by Rubina Dilaik's fans. But Kamya is unaffected by the trolling and states that she will not support a friend when she is in the wrong.

In an interview with ETimes, Kamya quoted, "Rubina was a part of ‘Shakti’ for four years and we respect each other’s craft. I have high regards for her. I genuinely like her and was happy to see her on ‘BB14’. I support and appreciate her when she does well. But I won’t mince my words when she is wrong. Why should I not point it out? I am being trolled for writing about her conduct on the show in recent times. People are writing ‘Tumhare jaisi friend ho toh dushman ki zaroorat nahi’. I can’t support a friend blindly. I will point out when she goes wrong, be it in ‘Bigg Boss’ or in the real world."

Further in the interview, Kamya also stated that Abhinav Shukla's game is getting affected because of Rubina Dilaik as she is a very strong player. She stated that they should have come in different seasons.
