TV actor Namish Taneja who is best known for playing the character of Lakshya Maheshwari in the show Swaragini, Samar Surana in the show Main Maike Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo and Vivek Vardhan Singh in the show Vidya is a fan favourite. As Bigg Boss 14 is just around the corner, Namish Taneja disclosed that he was supposed to be a part of Bigg Boss 14 and shares what changed his mind.
Speaking to BollywoodLife.com, when asked about his plans to be a part of the Salman Khan hosted controversial show Bigg Boss 14, Namish Taneja said, “Yes, of course. I want to explore Bigg Boss, too.” The actor then revealed how he was approached for Bigg Boss not once but more than that. He said, “Initially, I didn’t want to. I always denied it, but I went inside the house twice last year. And after that, I felt, why not? This would be something different as I have been doing back-to-back daily soaps ever since I started working. So, I thought, I should try out.”
Namish Taneja then revealed that he was approached for Bigg Boss season 14. The actor said, “We were in talks, but I was then finalised to play Ved, so I had to deny them.” While sharing that he was approached for Bigg Boss 14, Namish Taneja mentioned that he had to deny the offer as he was finalised to play the character of Ved in the TV show Aye Mere Humsafar. Well, there’s always a next time, and hopefully, if not this time, the fans and viewers might surely get a chance to watch Namish Taneja on Bigg Boss.
