Just now, the channel's official Instagram account shared a promo of Bigg Boss 14 where we got to see a rift between Nikki Tamboli and Jaan Kumar Sanu on who will become the next captain of the house. The fight escalated with Nikki saying that she doesn't want fake friends while Jaan also said that he doesn't want 'sasti friendship.' Nikki even broke down saying her friends are not there with her. Even though the captaincy fight was between Nikki, Jaan and Nishant Singh, the latter was also against Nikki being the captain of the house. however, the latest update in BB14 suggests that the new and the first captain of this season is Nishant Singh. Just sometime back, The Khabri who keeps sharing new updates on Bigg Boss took to their Twitter handle and shared a tweet mentioning the same.  
 
While sharing the update, the tweet read, "#Breaking #NishantSinghMalkani is new Captain of The House" After this was announced on the micro-blogging site, the fans of the show and the actor were pretty happy and agreed to the decision. As one wrote, "Nishant knows who are his friend! Nikki uske samne kaise shareef bn rhi thi or piche se buraiyan krti rehti hai! Good Nishant can handle the house better than anyone else now!" while another one thought he was deserving, "Jo banda task me sabse acha krta vo hi bana chahiye   Deserving #NishantMalkani" There was another who also had a similar view about Nishant as the tweet, "Good... He is playing the task well. & he is deserving. People may call him flipper or whatever they want but it's an individual game. He is there to play for himself not for Nikki.  #NishantMalkani"
 
Meanwhile, the Toofani seniors - Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan have left the Bigg Boss 14 house after 2 weeks, leaving everyone in tears. And in a surprising turn of events, Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia made a return to Bigg Boss 14 and were sent to the ‘Red Zone’.
