Even before Bigg Boss 14 kick-started, a promo showing self-proclaimed godwoman Radhe Maa in the reality show, created quite a buzz on social media. Soon, reports of Radhe Maa entering the Bigg Boss 14 house surfaced, and many speculated whether she would be seen as a contestant. Viewers later found out that she had only entered the show to bless the contestants. However, her brief appearance on Bigg Boss 14 has irked Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP)- the apex body of saints and seers.

The ABAP is not very happy over Radhe Maa’s stint in Bigg Boss 14, and upset over the same, they have reportedly disassociated from Radhe Maa. IANS reported ABAP president Mahant Narendra Giri saying that Radhe Maa is neither a saint, nor an ascetic, and that she isn’t associated with any akhara. “Earlier, the Juna Akhara had conferred the title of Mahamandaleshwar on Radhe Maa but later, when they saw her true colours, she was expelled from there," he said.

ABAP President further said that Radhe Maa is only well versed with singing and dancing and has no knowledge of religion or religious scriptures. He then urged everyone not to associate Radhe Maa with saints and seers or the ABAP. He added that Radhe Maa was free to participate in any show independently.


Radhe Maa was seen on Bigg Boss 14, as she entered the BB house to bless the contestants. Sidharth Shukla was seen touching her feet and seeking blessings from Radhe Maa.
