Bigg Boss 14: Rakhi Sawant Credits The Controversial TV Reality Show For Her Career And Shares Her Late Father's Last Words For Her
Seen as one of the challengers in Bigg Boss 14, Rakhi Sawant shares how Bigg Boss gave her recognition and made her family feel proud of her
Drama queen and controversy's child, actress Rakhi Sawant currently locked in the Bigg Boss 14 house, credited the TV reality show for her career. The actress recently entered the house as a guest termed as the challenger on the show, was seen in the first season of the TV reality show in 2006. In an emotional conversation with challenger Rahul Mahajan and current season housemate Abhinav Shukla, the actress recalled some encouraging words of her father when he breathed his last.
During the conversation on Bigg Boss Extra Masala, she shared her family members love her and appreciate her for whatever she has achieved in her life, also her father appreciated her which was of utmost importance for her. She shared, “Mera khandan ab bohot pyaar karte hai mujhe abhi. Sab logo bolte hai, tune aacha kiya. Mere liye yeh khushi hai ki marte marte bhi Daddy ne bola tune aacha kiya. Yeh mere liye important hai.”
Talking about the age-old saying that only son can achieve great heights in career has changed, now daughters too reach great heights in their career. “Kyunki maine Bigg Boss kiya tha first, ek hota hai na purane khandan mein aisa lagta hai ki beta hi sab kuch karega. Beti kuch nahi kar sakti. Beti chand pe pahunch gayi yaar,” she added.
The actress further shared that she has made people laugh, and also sometimes being called controversy queen, but feels privileged that she did not take the wrong path. She said this approach to life made her father feel proud of her. “Chahe maine kuch bhi kiya, hasaya logon ko, yah log controversy queen bolte hain, kuch kiya toh saahi na? Road pe baith ke bheek toh nahi manga na? Aur galat toh nahi kiya na kuch? Sab alag alag hai yaar. Main kabhi roti nahi hoon lekin is liye roi ke end of the day dad ko laga maine kiya kuch life mein,” said the actress.
