TV industry has resumed shooting with TV producers once again beginning to entertain their audience with the daily dose of drama, laughter and more on the small screen. Like every year news of the most controversial yet popular TV reality Bigg Boss is also back in news for its next season. Hosted by Bollywood’s bankable star Salman Khan, few names from the TV industry had already surfaced on the internet. While some of the celebs chose to remain mum on it, few opened up and confirmed turning down the offer.
The list of stars who turned down the offer and confirmed the same too includes, Tejasswi Prakash, Rajeev Sen, Surbhi Jyoti, Chahatt Khanna, Kuldeep Singh, Shubhangi Atre and Adhyayan Suman. Swaragini actress Tejasswi Prakash who was recently seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, was approached for BB14, but the actress turned it down as she wants to concentrate on fiction shows as per reports in Times of India. Next is Naagin 3 actress Surbhi Jyoti who turned it down as per reports in Pinkvilla.
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress Shubhangi Atre who recently resumed shoot of her Sitcom, was approached by the makers, but the actress also did not give a nod to it, as she doesn’t want to ditch her producers of the ongoing show. In conversation with Pinkvilla, she said, “Yes, I have got a call but I'm not available for it as of now. I'm already committed to Bhabiji, and I cannot ditch my producers and channel at any cost. Secondly, I cannot fight and abuse at least, for now, I am not prepared for such a show.”
Followed by actor Adhyayan Suman who also rubbished the rumours of him participating in the TV reality show by taking to his Twitter account. Clearing off the air, he tweeted, “False news of me being a part of Bigg boss. Thanks but no thanks. Disrespectful to say the least.' In a second tweet, he stated, 'Even if it was the end of the world I Would never go there don’t worry! Rajeev Sen who has remained in news for his marriage with wife Charu Asopa hitting a rough patch, too confirmed of not participating in the show in conversation with Times of India. He said, ‘'I was approached last year and these are all rumours.' TV show Vighnaharta Ganesh actor Kuldeep Singh also revealed of being approached for the show, but declined as he doesn’t want to risk it. During this conversation with TOI he said, “I don't want to do such shows now. I want to explore acting and want to do something iconic as an actor. Doing such a reality show, at this juncture may risk my acting career. Also, I don’t want to be presented as a victim in the show. I know the situation created inside the house is very difficult to handle. Moreover, Bigg Boss fans keep bullying you outside if they don’t like you. And lastly Chahatt Khanna known for her role in Ekta Kapoor’s popular TV show, Bade Acche Lagte Hain was also approached for the show, but she declined to sign on the dotted lines as she feels she is not made for the show as reported in Pinkvilla.
