Bigg Boss 15: Eijaz Khan Concurs With This Season Going Digital, Says 'It Is A Sensible Thing To Do’
Former Bigg Boss contestant, Eijaz Khan shared his views on Bigg Boss 15 going digital this time. He thinks it is a sensible thing to do, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic
The ardent fans of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss were treated with the banging promo of Bigg Boss 15, which promises to be ‘over the top,’ on July 21. The show will take us through deeper engagements, connections, and indulgence in the comings and goings of the house. Voot recently announced the premiere of Bigg Boss OTT and the first six weeks of this highly anticipated reality show will be accessible to fans in the palm of their hands 24X7. As fans are super pumped to know Bigg Boss 15 has gone digital, even former contestant of the show, Eijaz Khan is elated that the show will be streaming online.
While talking to IANS, Eijaz was quoted as saying, "I think it is a sensible thing to do. Everyone's on it.” The actor, who found his lady love Pavitra Punia on Bigg Boss 14, further said, “You do not go on a community television at home and see a show... It's not like that anymore. So, it (OTT) is personal and everything has to move. A show like Bigg Boss which sometimes has mature content should come on OTT and it is a good thing.”
SpotboyE.com earlier reported that Bigg Boss 15 will see a new host in filmmakers Rohit Shetty, Farah Khan among few other Bollywood faces; however, the latest promo shows Salman Khan as its host. Speaking about contestants, the makers are yet to share the final list which includes celebrities as well as commoners.
Commenting on this all-new Bigg Boss OTT, Salman Khan said, “It’s great that this season of Bigg Boss will have a digital-first with Bigg Boss OTT, 6 weeks ahead of television. The platform will see unparalleled interactivity where the audience will not only get entertained but also participate, engage, give tasks and more - It’s true for the people and by the people. My advice to all contestants is to be active, entertaining and conduct themselves well in the BB house.”
