Archana Gautam’s father files a police complaint against Priyanka Vadra's personal assistant accusing him of sending death threats to his daughter
Actress turned politician Archana Gautam has been making headlines ever since she appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss 16. As per the latest reports, her father has filed a police complaint against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's personal assistant named Sandeep Singh accusing him of misbehaving with his daughter. Archana’s father also alleged that he gave death threats to the actress. Reportedly, FIR has been filed against Priyanka Vadra's personal assistant under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Meerut Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rohit Singh Sajwan said Sandeep Singh has been booked under IPC sections 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty of a woman). He has also been charged under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The case has been registered at the Partapur police station. In his complaint, Gautam’s father stated that last month he called his daughter to Raipur during the party’s plenary session saying Priyanka Gandhi wanted to meet her. And, there the aide of the congress leader misbehaved with her and also "threatened her with death.” Gautam Buddha also claimed that Sandeep Singh passed some derogatory casteist remarks against Archana Gautam.
Meanwhile, Archana became a popular household name with her stint on the Salman Khan-hosted show where she was given the title of 'Kitchen Queen' for her culinary skills. She made it to the top 5 contestants. Although she could not win the show, she managed to win hearts with her strong and bold personality.
