Bigg Boss 16 is one of the most talked about controversial reality shows on Indian television. The makers on many occasions have been called out for their biases and double standards. In a recent episode it was seen that Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta got into a heated argument, during which he tells her, “Aap itne dogle ho, ki aapke saath ek ladka khatam hota hai toh dusre ladke ke paas mein chipakne lag jaate ho.”

Miffed at his statement, Tina even demands Bigg Boss to evict her during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. While Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was seen supporting Tina against Shalin, no one else interfered. Not only was Shalin’s ex-wife dragged into the whole mess, but even their co-contestant Soundarya Shrma wasn’t spared. They assassinated her character on national television in the most casual manner. Ex-contestant Kamya Panjabi, took to her social media handle and questioned Tina’s behaviour. She wrote on Twitter, “Tina saying “I was only a part of that conversation but I dint say anything wrong about u saundarya” seriously? And u talk about a woman’s self respect n dignity n blaming other women in the house for not taking a stand for you?”


Fans have since the Uttaran actress’ declaration found out clips of her character assassinating other female contestants, specifically Soundarya and Sumbul Touqeer Khan. It will be interesting to see how the makers will address this issue during the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode. This week, Sumbul, Tina, Soundarya and Shalin have been nominated for eviction.
