‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ fame Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was the strongest contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 16. Since day 1 she has made her presence felt in the house and was the most talked about player on the show. In the latest episode, Nimrit got evicted from the BB house ahead of the finale and she bid an emotional farewell to her friends. Several photos and videos of Nimrit getting emotional while leaving the house are doing rounds on social media. The TV actress got eliminated after the audience entered the Bigg Boss house to vote for their favourite contestants.

In the latest episode, we saw for the first time ever in the history of Bigg Boss, the makers gave chance to the audience to enter the house and vote for their favourite contestant. And, as a result, Nimrit got evicted while rapper MC Stan, Shiv, Archana, Priyanka, and Shalin reached the top 5. Nimrit’s unexpected elimination has left fans sad and shocked. One user tweeted, “The way today you eliminate #NimritKaurAhluwalia it’s shows it’s all pre planned #Mandli got overwhelming response fro all 3 groups but still you played dirty game @BiggBoss you are the biggest BSDK thoo on you and your show @BeingSalmanKhan should not continue further in this.” Another wrote, “If you want to keep your credibility @BeingSalmanKhan must quit @BiggBoss in next season, it’s most unreal show, the way #NimritKaurAhluwalia was eliminated with overwhelming response from all 3 groups is disgusting and disrespect for the audiences.”

Talking about her sudden eviction, Nimrit told TOI that it was out of the blue as nobody expected it. “It was a jittery space to be in, especially to know of the mid-week elimination just seven days before the finale, because we struggled so hard and gave our best shot for so many weeks. Honestly, I would have been disappointed if I was eliminated because of pan-India voting. But in the current scenario, I don’t have much to say,” Nimrit was quoted saying.
