Bigg Boss is back with its 16th season to entertain the audience. The controversial show has a huge following not just for the task and for contestants but for Salman Khan’s hosting. Amid all the excitement and reports of Salman Khan demanding a whooping hike, it is being speculated that ace director Rohit Shetty will replace Dabangg Khan as a host for Bigg Boss 16.
Also, Shetty is loved by the audience for hosting Khatron Ke Khiladi and for how he pushes the contest to give their best while performing the daredevil stunts. Even his presence on Bigg Boss was praised by fans to pacify the tiff between Asim Riaz and the late Sidharth Shukla in Bigg Boss 13 and also when he appeared on Bigg Boss 14 to promote Sooryavanshi.
However, the news of Salman Khan being replaced was denied by the channel. A BollywoodLife report quoted a source close to Rohit Shetty and confirmed that he will not host the show. They even mentioned there is no truth to such baseless claims. Also, no one from the channel or Endemol Shine India had ever approached ‘Singham’ director to host this controversial show.
Talking about Bigg Boss 16, the show will go on air in October this year. Reportedly, Lock Up winner Munawar Faruqui, TikTok star Faisal Shaikh and TV actors Shivin Narang, Vivian Dsena, and internet sensation Vishal Pandey are said to be the confirmed contestants of Bigg Boss 16.
