Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s father had requested the makers of Bigg Boss 16 to let him talk to his daughter because he was ill
The past week of Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 16 centred around the relationship between Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Shalin Bhanot, and Tina Datta. It was also seen that Sumbul had a phone conversation with her where he advised her to show Shalin and Tina their aukaat after everyone called out the young actress for being obsessed with Shalin after she stopped him from getting into a physical fight with MC Stan.
Sumbul's father had requested the channel to let him talk to his daughter after the last Weekend Ka Vaar episode, under the pretext of him being in a critical condition. He had said that she wanted to talk to Sumbul before his hospitalization. However, Sumbul’s father spoke about everything apart from his health, from telling the Imlie actress about the allegations he is facing for sending his 19-year-old to a reality show to calling Shalin and Tina ‘kaminey log’. For his stunts, Papa Touqeer was chastised by netizens and former contestants. It was also seen that Tina’s mom had opened up about the incident, pleading with the audience for their support against the name-calling. Taking the drama to another level, the master of the house, showed the entire conversation to the contestants, which left Shalin and Tina furious. This Weekend Ka Vaar episode will see Shalin’s parents, Sumbul’s father, and Tina’s mother as panelists to hash out the entire ordeal surrounding their relationships.
In a new promo released by the channel, Shalin’s father can be seen asking Sumbul’s father why he didn’t talk about his health at all. Sumbul’s father has come under the radar of everyone for cheating his way to help his daughter in the show. The promo also shows Tina’s mother refusing to apologise for her daughter’s ill words towards the young actress. For the unversed, many are pointing fingers at the Uttaran actress for playing the dirty game. In one of the recent episodes of Bigg Boss, Tina was seen making negative comments about Sumbul’s characters and how she ogled at Shalin when he was changing his clothes. Even after Sumbul established that she sees the older actor as a good friend, Tina, who doesn’t like anyone talking about her character, kept on hinting about Sumbul’s supposed romantic feelings for Shalin.
