Sajid Khan has landed himself in a soup and a violent storm seems to be brewing against the Bigg Boss 16 participant. Now, as per the latest report, Sherlyn Chopra will be recording her statement with the Juhu police. The latest update comes after a counted complaint was filed against her by the filmmaker.
The trouble began mounting after the MeToo accused Sajid Khan was introduced in the 16th edition of the show. His entry into the Bigg Boss house sparked much uproar across the nation as many questioned how a MeToo accused was seen participating in the show. Many even demanded answers from the makers about the same.
Amid all the chaos, an ETimes report suggests that owing to Sherlyn's statement the course of action will be decided.
For the unversed, the recent update comes as Faizan Ansari filed a case against Sherlyn, alleging that the allegations against Sajid in the MeToo case have not been proven yet.
Earlier, the actress had even objected to Sajid's participation in the Bigg Boss show and had also sent a letter to the cops related to the same.
Meanwhile, Sherlyn’s lawyer Suhail Shroff, in a press conference, said that she was called to the police station to give a recording of her statement.
The MeToo movement sparked after many female celebrities and actors spoke about the atrocities and sexual misconduct they allegedly faced at the hands for filmmaker Sajid Khan. In her complaint, Sherlyn shared that she wanted Sajid to be thrown out of the Bigg Boss house and that he should not get any chance to be on television.
Meanwhile, Faizan Ansari, on the other hand, feels that just accusing Sajid in the MeToo case does not make him a villain. He pointed out that the verdict on his case is yet to be announced and he cannot be blacklisted until proven guilty by the court.
Furthermore, Faizan also requested the moviemakers to boycott Sherlyn and revealed that she is known for blackmailing rich celebrities.
