Bigg Boss 16’s Sumbul Touqeer Khan has been on the receiving end of backlash for a longtime. May it be from the housemates, Salman Khan or even the audience, her friendliness towards to Shalin Bhanot has often made her a scapegoat.
In the previous Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Tina Dutta and Salman expressed that they feel like she is obsessed with Shalin. Their comment came after Sumbul jumped in a fight between Shalin and MC Stan. Not only did she lock him in the room so he doesn’t get hurt, she even denied Tina to talk to him. Fed up with the entire ordeal, the 19-year-old actress is allowed to talk to father via a phone call in an upcoming episode. The makers released a promo of the Imlie actress breaking down while talking to her father. Helpless with the ongoing ordeal, Sumbul is seen sitting in the confession room having a phone conversation with her father. In tears, she tells her father she doesn’t know what is happening. Her father advises her to show Shalin and Tina their ‘aukaat’. Determined with her father’s words, Sumbul nods and tells him that she will only do what he says.
Fans took to the comments section of the promo, to wonder if she would follow through what her father said and improve her game. Some even addressed her father and told him to take her out of the house and enroll her in college so that she can study further. It will be interesting to see if Sumbul finally takes a stand for herself, distances from Shalin and Tina and focuses only on her game.
