Actress Soniya Bansal became the first contestant to be evicted out of the 17th season of Bigg Boss during the second week of the show. She along with Sana Raees Khan had gotten the least amount of votes, Bigg Boss left the decision of the elimination onto the contestants. Over the fews days that she spent in the house, she had many altercations, one of which that gained attention was with actor Abhishek Kumar. Now, the actress has spoken about her experience with him during a recent interview.

In a post-eviction interaction with Bollywood Life, Soniya opened up about her experience of dealing with Abhishek. She explained how he is a good person at heart but is willing to do just about anything so that he can get more screen-time. Explaining how she sensed from the very first day that he didn’t respect women, she revealed that she felt the need to teach him a lesson. The 27-year old went on to add, “However, after a heated altercation, he approached me and offered an apology, which led me to forgive him. I understand that in this house, you can't simply ignore someone because you're constantly faced with their presence, so forgiving and forgetting becomes necessary. I must say, Abhishek isn't a bad person at heart; he has a good nature. For those who don’t know, Abhishek has constantly been making the headlines for his tumultuous relationship with his Udaariyaan co-star Isha Malvia. During the recent Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan episode he was seen breaking donw in tears and wailing after her current boyfriend Samarth Jurel entered the show as a wildcard contestant.

Hosted by Salman Khan, this time the house is divided into 3 sections - Dil (heart), Dimaag (intelligence) and Dum (strength). Contestants have been put in different rooms. Isha Malviya, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt, Anurag Dobhal aka UK07 Rider, Arun Mashettey, Navid Sole, Jigna Vora, Soniya Bansal, Sana Raees Khan, Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, Tehelka Prank, Rinku Dhawan and Firoza Khan aka Khanzaadi are the contestants of the current season. While Soniya was evicted from the house, Samarth Jurel and Manasvi Mamgai became the first wildcard entrants.
