During their altercation over making halwa in the house, Malti chastises Nehal, saying, “Next time kapde pehenke baat karna mere se.” The remark drew widespread shock—Kunickaa Sadanand immediately reacted, exclaiming, “What the hell do you say?”
Nehal’s team soon responded on Instagram with a pointed statement. They began by highlighting that a remark like “kapde pehnke baat karo” aired on national television is far from random, calling it “a reflection of mentality—one that reeks of insecurity, cheapness, and lack of class.”
They criticized the tactic of belittling someone based on appearance: “Because when you can’t match someone’s personality, aura, or achievements, you try to pull them down over clothes.”
They underlined Nehal’s consistent presentation in the show: “always one of the best-dressed contestants of this season—elegant, confident, and owning her individuality every single day inside that house.” They added, “She’s never needed validation, and definitely not from people whose only contribution to the show is spreading negativity.”
In another post, the team called out Malti’s earlier bikini photos on Instagram and referenced Nehal’s “fat to fit” transformation. They asserted, “You don’t get to demean that journey. You don’t get to talk down to a woman who’s earned her respect, her place, and her power.” And they contrasted approach and attitude: “While one is busy making cheap remarks, the other is out here breaking stereotypes and setting examples. The difference is, Nehal does it with grace, not cheapness.” They concluded with a challenge: “Next time match her energy! Not her outfit.”
It remains to be seen whether Salman Khan will address Malti’s comment during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
