Bigg Boss 19: Was Awez Darbar’s Eviction Planned? Family Reportedly Paid Voluntary Exit Fee Over Ex-Girlfriend Shubhi Joshi Entry Speculation
Awez Darbar’s eviction from Bigg Boss 19 stunned both fans and fellow contestants. He was eliminated during Weekend Ka Vaar, after being nominated along with Ashnoor Kaur, Pranit More, Gaurav Khanna, Mridul Tiwari, and Neelam Giri. The surprising exit came just a day after his sister-in-law, actress Gauahar Khan, entered the house to “give him a reality check.”
Shocking claims have now surfaced suggesting that Awez’s eviction may not have been spontaneous. According to reports, his family allegedly paid a voluntary exit fee in order to orchestrate his removal—especially after rumours circulated that his ex-girlfriend, Shubhi Joshi, might enter the show as a wildcard contestant.
The speculation is that the Darbar family wished to avoid further personal drama—drama that had been amplified in the media, following accusations by Amaal Mallik and Baseer Ali that Awez had texted multiple women. Meanwhile, Shubhi Joshi herself has publicly confirmed she and Awez once shared a relationship, which further fueled gossip about alleged infidelity involving Nagma Mirajkar, Awez’s partner of ten years.
Additionally, reports say that after Gauahar’s segment inside the house, she checked with the show’s producers regarding Shubhi’s possible wildcard entry. She never received any confirmation, and that prompted the Darbar family to allegedly pay the exit fee and withdraw Awez from the show—leading to a dramatic and apparently prearranged exit.
It’s worth noting that these remain unverified rumours. According to The Free Press Journal, they cannot confirm the authenticity of these claims.
