Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant, model and actor Jad Haid’s journey in the Salman Khan-hosted show has finally come to a conclusion. The shocking development comes after the host announced double elimination just one week before the finale week. Now, after a much-controversial run in the show, Jad has finally broken his silence about his equation with Akanksha Puri. 

Reflecting on his journey in the high-octane show, Jad said that there is no one in particular whom he would never want to cross paths with out of the house. He also maintained that he does not hold grudges against anyone. During his interview with Pinkvilla, Jad also recalled his kiss with Akanksha Puri and said, “I would love to reconnect with Akanksha and apologize to her in person. She’s not a bad kisser, she’s a great kisser and that was silly and stupid of me to say that I'm definitely looking forward to discussing this Indian marriage thing.”


For those unaware, during their stint on the show, Akanksha Puri and Jad Hadid were given a task by their fellow contestants to kiss each other. The two exchanged a steamy kiss on national television, however, the contestants received severe backlash for the same. Even Salman Khan expressed his disapproval of the gesture.

Later, Jad called Akanksha a ‘bad kisser’ during his conversation with Avinash and the latter, along with Falaz Naaz and others burst out into laughter. Salman Khan intervened the situation and he even slammed the contestants for taking it all up as a joke. Following the controversy, Akanksha Puri was evicted from the Bigg Boss house, which came as a shock to the viewers. Jiya, Manisha, Bebika Dhurve, Elvish Yadav, Pooja Bhatt and Abhishek are the contestants who have made it to the finale week. Streaming on Jio Cinema, the grand finale will be held on August 13.
