Bigg Boss OTT: Evicted Contestant Karan Nath Speaks About Karan Johar As A Host; Says ‘He Only Discussed Fights, Hungama And Controversies’
Bigg Boss OTT evicted contestant Karan Nath shared his take on Karan Johar as the host of the show. He said KJo focussed more on fights and controversies than the good part of the show
Unlike previous seasons of Bigg Boss, the reins of hosting the show were handed over to Karan Johar for the OTT season. Considering Karan’s ‘over the top’ skills, many expected that it would be a little dramatic and filmy. However, much to everyone’s dismay, Karan’s hosting skills did not impress many. The fans of the show took to their social media handle and criticised him. Moreover, the filmmaker faced backlash for his biased behaviour towards Shamita Shetty and against Divya Agarwal and Zeeshan Khan.
As Karan received so much flak from people, BB OTT evicted contestant Karan Nath shared his opinion on Karan Johar as a host of the show. He said KJo focussed more on fights and controversies than the good part of the show. Karan Nath told indianexpress.com, “He is very entertaining as a host, no doubts on that. What I didn’t like was that my niceness was ignored completely. He only discussed fights, hungama and controversies. If you are going to only highlight that, what is the kind of example you are setting? The good things should also be put forth for people to understand and know me better.”
BB 9 contestant Suyyash Rai also slammed Johar for his behaviour towards Divya Agarwal. He even called Karan a 'loser' and asked him to stick to movies.
"Dear KJo you fkin check your tone next time then expect others to speak with you nicely. And you better not point that finger of yours at Divya. Do all this with YOUR SHAMITA,” his one of the post captions read.
For the unversed, on the last Sunday Ka Vaar episode, Karan Johar yelled at Divya Agarwal after she mentioned his name in the house. When Divya said she is not trying to play BB with him, KJo shut her down saying she is a contestant and he is a host while also asking her to 'watch her words’. He also schooled Zeeshan Khan after his big fight with Akshara Singh.
