Bigg Boss OTT will have Shamita Shetty in the house whereas Anusha Dandekar is no more a part of the show
Bigg Boss OTT will start premiering its episode on August 8 which is going to be hosted by Bollywood's famous producer-director Karan Johar. The contestants who will be participating in the show have already been quarantined at a Mumbai hotel and will be making an entry into the house tomorrow (August 7). With the launch date coming closer, a lot of last-minute changes have been done by the makers due to creative reasons. We already informed you singer Millind Gabba and Neha Marda are the last-minute entries to the celebrity list whereas choreographer Nishant Bhat has replaced actor Manasvi Vasisht on the show. Since yesterday, a new name has been doing the rounds in media reports and it's none other than Shamita Shetty. However, there was no confirmation done by the makers or Shamita.
Now a source confirms SpotboyE.com, "Shamita is very much entering the show. The actress who was also a contestant in Bigg Boss 3 will be once again participating in the show. However, there is no clarity yet if she will be going again as a contestant in the show. She has been roped in the very last moment and creatives are still working on her entry". When we asked if Shamita is a replacement of Anusha, the source replied, "No idea".
We also messaged Shamita to know more about it but she remained unavailable for comment.
Shamita has been acted in films like Mohabbatien and Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai and has also been part of TV reality shows like Bigg Boss 3, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and Jhalka Dikhla Jaa 8.
Shamita is also the younger sister of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty who is in the midst of. an ongoing controversy along with her husband Raj Kundra.
Apart from Shamita Shetty, stars like Ridhima Pandit, Zeeshan Khan, Karan Nath, Divya Agarwal, Pratik Sehajpal, Urfi Javed, Akshara Singh, Milling Gaba, Neha Marda and Neha Bhasin are likely to get locked inside the house.
