Going by the episodes, it looks like he shares a great bond with his connection Shamita Shetty. Though they get into arguments, they also share great understanding. Their bond is only getting stronger day by day.
In a recent episode, Shamita and Raqesh opened up about their personal lives following an argument. Raqesh opened up to Shamita about his divorce with Ridhi Dogra and how things in life affected him. He told her that he has suffered many ups and downs during his childhood and adulthood.
Raqesh shared that he has had anxiety issues. He also mentioned that his father's death impacted him badly. The actor further revealed that his mother and sister were worried for him and that he has gone without sleep for weeks at a stretch. "I was on the verge of breaking," he added. A couple of days ago, Ridhi Dogra came out in support of the actor. For the uninitiated, in one of the recent episodes, Raqesh got emotional after his verbal spat with Pratik Sehajpal. After seeing her ex-husband crying, Ridhi came out in his support and said that the actor is playing the game with dignity. She commented, "By virtue of choosing goodness and humanity one is a winner. Being loud and twisting words and not letting people speak is unfortunately considered entertainment in this world. But there are some of us on the side of humanity. And that's what matters! @raqeshbapat."
