Bigg Boss OTT hosted by Karan Johar was a major hit in digital space. TV actress Divya Agarwal emerged as the winner of first season and Nishant Bhatt was the first runner-up who went on to be a part of Bigg Boss 15. Now the makers are planning to launch the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. Speculation are rife that Bade Achhe Lagte Hain fame Mohit Malhotra has been approached for the new season.
The makers have started pitching the celebrities for Bigg Boss OTT season 2 and pre-production has also begun. As per the reports, Bigg Boss OTT season 2 will have five contestants including television actors Pooja Gor, Kanchi Singh, and Mahesh Shetty. Makers are also planning to get Poonam Pandey and Kanchi Singh on board, but they are yet to comment on it. According to the latest reports in Tellychakkar, Mohit Malhotra has been approached for the show, but there is no yet confirmation from his end.
Earlier there were reports that Ranveer Singh, Farah Khan, Hina Khan, Shehnaaz Gill, and Asim Riaz have been approached to host the show. Karan Johar would not be able to host the show as he is busy with his new chat show Koffee With Karan 7 streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The insider was quoted saying, "Makers have started working on the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. As they couldn't get dates from Karan Johar, the makers have finalized Ranveer Singh to host the show. He has earlier worked for the channel for another reality TV show, ‘The Big Picture."
